Saint Bonifacia Rodriguez Castro, whose feast day is on August 8, is the foundress of Siervas De San Jose Congregation and a saint for the world of work and for ordinary people.

One hundred seventy eight years ago, a baby girl was born to Juan Rodriquez and Maria Natalia Castro. She was named Bonifacia which means a “doer of good”.  At the tender age of fifteen, when her father died, Bonifacia began to work in order to help her mother as bread-winner of the family.  She put up her own-cord-making shop, where young girls who were attracted by her witness of evangelical life, stayed and spent afternoons of holy days with her. By common agreement, they organized the Josephine Association.

Impelled by the Holy Spirit, Bonifacia looked into the needs of the workers who were generally wounded by injustice during the industrial revolution in the early 19thcentury. In solidarity with the poor, she proclaimed the sanctifying value of work, the liberation of the women worker, the possibility of converting the ordinary into a sacred space. [more...]

Dear Parents and Guardians:
Greetings in the name of Holy Family in Nazareth! 

As has been communicated to you through Circular No. 2 S.2013, dated December 4, 2013, Holy Family School of Quezon City, Inc. shall offer a one-time opportunity for all its students  to move up to one level higher through the Level-Up Transition Program (LUTP) uring the summer of 2014.  

This program is open to all its current students from Kinder 1 to Grade 8 levels for School Year 2013-2014.  New students for Grades 1 to 8 whose application forms and requirements are filed and approved by the admission committee and are willing to undergo the pre-assessment test may also avail of this program
